Club Facilities Development
A major new development is under way which will provide new facilities and improvements to the existing Club facilities. This will be a benefit to the club and all members of the community in the years to come.
What is being developed?
• Running/Walking track with lighting.
• Covered spectator stand.
• Community Recreational Area.
• Gymnasium.
• Handball/ Racquetball Court.
• Additional Changing rooms including separate Male and Female changing rooms.
• Referee Changing room
• Treatment Room.
• Meeting Rooms and Office.
• Kitchen and Catering Area
The facilities will be open to everyone in the community and provide alternative sports i.e. Gym, Racquetball & Handball.
The existing building has been raised to the same height as the new building. This will make the existing room upstairs much larger and will allow it to be used for other sporting and cultural activities.
The work is progressing well and completion of the main development and running track is expected to be completed by the end of March 2010. The Handball/Racquetball Court will not be ready until later in the summer because the floor cannot be put down until the court is free of moisture.
