GAA
Congratulations to the Cornafean Ladies who beat Killygarry on Saturday in the Division 4 Final. It was indeed a great achievement and without a doubt Orla Smith was the hero on the day. She made some impressive runs as well as scoring the bulk of the Cornafean scores. Up front she got great assistance from Roisin Martin and Siobhan King. While in defence Karen Burges, Derbhla O'Reilly and Deirdre Tully played well. The final score on the day was Cornafean 1-15 Killagarry 3-04. Celebrations went on late into the night and a special word of thanks to all who supported them.
Also congratulations to Fergus Barry, Rita Martin and Sean Caffrey who won the tickets for the All Ireland final.
