Meath job 'a really, really long shot' - Carr

Tommy Carr
Former Dublin captain and manager Tommy Carr insists he has had no contact about taking over in Meath, and does not expect an approach from the Royal County.
Carr, who has been interviewed for the Cavan manager's job, has emerged as a shock candidate to succeed Colm Coyle as Meath chief.
But the Tipperary native, who also managed Roscommon for a spell, described the prospect of taking charge of the Royals as "a really, really long shot".
Speaking to Newstalk's Off the Ball Show on Monday night, he said: "I have met Cavan and their representatives but I haven't been offered anything as yet. I understand they're meeting up to five or six people and that process is ongoing. I think at some stage this week they'll make an announcement.
"I haven't spoken to anyone in Meath or have had any phone calls [from Meath], just to clear that one up.
"It hasn't happened and I haven't given it consideration to be quite honest but I think it would be a really, really long shot from everybody's point of view."
