On Saturday our U13 Div 2 team played Castlerahan away. We started off very strong with some top class scores from play and with a solid defence keeping them at distance. At half time we had a 8 point lead. Castlerahan rallied in the second half and clawed back with shots on goal. They finished very strong winning by 6 points in the end but we kept the battle going and did ourselves proud.

FT Cuchulainns 4-11 Castlerahan 3-20.

Under 13 Division 5 played Sunday 8th September in Cross.

An early start due to Mullagh Fair didn't stop this game from been very entertaining. A couple of early goals put the home side on the front foot.  Kingscourt came back but Cuchulainns still lead at half time. Some brilliant defensive play by Ross Blair and TJ Daly allied with the hard working midfield of Adam Smith and Fionn Malone laid the foundations for a great win. Lee McKeon and Pajo Quinn shone in attack as Cuchulainns held on for a one point victory. Cuchulainns 6 6 Kingscourt 5 8
