Senior AGM

Belturbet Rory O'Moore's AGM will take place on Friday January 5th 2018 at 8.30 p.m in Belturbet Townhall. Everyone is welcome to attend and are encouraged to please do so. 2018 Motion and Officer nomination forms are available at Lawlors Auctioneers The Diamond, Belturbet or by contacting Club Secretary Paul O'Reilly on 0876682677 or email [email protected]. All Motion and 2018 Club Officer nomination forms must be returned to the club secretary by no later than Friday the 15th of December.

 

U19 Ladies

Congratulations to our U19 Ladies and management team of Aaron, Sarah and Mick on their 8-8 to 4-10 win over Cornafean on Saturday last in the U19 Division 3 Championship Final on the 3G Pitch, Kingspan Breffni.

 

U13s

Congratulations to our Under 13 Team who won the U13 Division 2 Football Blitz Title on Tuesday evening last November 28 in the 3G Pitch. Well done to the squad and Management team of Cathal, Gene, Denis, Brian and Eoin.

Sports Capital Grant

The club are delighted to announce that we have received a substantial grant from the Sports Capital Grant for 2017 which will go towards the upgrading of our Rory O'Moore Park Pitch and Walking track. A huge word of thanks and congratulations to the successful application must go to Chairman Mark Lawlor and the entire Club Committee whose meticulous preparation and  impressive application resulted in us being awarded €67,500.

Word of Thanks for Mike & Maureen Dennehy

The Juvenile Committee, Players & Coaches of our U16 Boys team would like to thank Mike and Maureen Dennehy from the Oak View Nursing Home in Belturbet for kindly sponsoring personalised Kit Bags for each player. The lads made sure to put their bags to great use this year, they were narrowly pipped at the last hurdle in the league and had a good run in the championship. The generosity of the Dennehy's is hugely appreciated. 

 

McCaugheys Fuels Kit for Clubs

Belturbet GFC are running with this initiative for the Juvenile Clubs with McCaughey Fuels of Clones. Please help to spread the word to family, friends and neighbours and help us get kit and gear for our underage. With Each Heating Oil Delivery the club will receive 1 token. More details are contained in the posters on club facebook and twitter accounts. There is a box in Gala in town to leave tokens in  and they can also be given to club members.

Club Membership
Many thanks to all who have paid their Membership and to those who are on Direct Debit, it is badly needed and much appreciated as it is going directly into the account for the much needed re-development of our club grounds which are underway at present.  Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club.    Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet. This will entitle members to free entry into all Belturbet games at underage and senior level as well as having their name entered into the weekly club lotto draw. If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees can be returned  to our club chairman Mark Lawlor, Secretary Paul O'Reilly, Treasurer Alan Traynor or indeed any of the club committee.
