The late Myley Flynn A young father died tragically leaving behind his heartbroken wife and two children aged just four years old and eight weeks old. The unexpected death of Myles (Miley) Flynn, Bennekerry, Carlow had been a devastating loss to his wife Elizabeth, sons Bill and Tom, parents Bill and Margaret and large extended family. The 28-year-old worked in the family business Flynn's Scrap and Furniture as a driver, a job he really enjoyed. The Flynn's business is very well known and respected throughout the county and several of the Flynn family are involved in the family business. Miley was also very popular in Carlow town where he lived with his young family, wife Elizabeth (nee Berry) and sons Bill (4) and Tom (8 weeks) in the Laurels Tullow Road, Carlow but he always held his deep affection with his home place in Bennekerry. A very close family, Miley's sudden death has been extremely difficult for his family who described him as a loving and very caring husband, father, son and brother. "He was very easygoing, and great fun. You'd always have a laugh with him," said his sister Brigid. Miley loved the GAA, both hurling and football, and regularly went to Croke Park to see the games. In his school days, he played football with Askea BNS. Removal took place to the Holy Family Church Askea were Requiem Mass was celebrated. Burial will take place afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Carlow. Miley is survived by his wife Elizabeth, sons Bill and Tom, parents BIll and Margaret, sisters Ann, Bridgid, Margaret and Elizabeth, brothers Paddy, Michael, Johnny, Bill and Dan, extended family and many friends.
