Kehoe: every game is a big game

July 08, 2015

St Mullins' captain Paudie Kehoe is adamant that every game in the Carlow SHC is a huge game.

This weekend's meeting against Mount Leinster Rangers is being billed as the tie of the round, but Kehoe was keen to stress to the Carlow Nationalist that every game would be as tough as the next.

"Every game in Carlow is a big game," said Kehoe. "This is the first game. You look forward to that every year. We haven't hurled championship since last year so it doesn't matter who it is against, you look forward to it."

The defending champions are missing a number of key players for Sunday's game at Netwatch Cullen Park and Kehoe admitted that they need everybody.

"Where we are, numbers are vital. We need every we can get but with these lads out, it gives others a chance to come in and look for a place."
