Willie Quinlan has been appointed manager of the Carlow U21 footballers for 2015.
The former Eire Og and Carlow star moves up to the U21s after two years in charge of the Carlow minors. He is also well-known for his work as an analyst for local radio station KCLR.
A statement from the Carlow county board read: "He will be working with all 14 underage football clubs in the country to ensure that we have our best and most committed players on the panel as we prepare for next year's Leinster championship.
"The complete backroom team will be named in the coming weeks."
Quinlan's appointment follows those of his Eire Og club-mate Turlough O'Brien and Pat English as Carlow senior football and hurling managers for the coming year.
