The Barrowsiders were hugely disappointed to lose to the Faithful County in the opening round of the Leinster MHC, but they get a second chance when they take on Kildare on Saturday week.

Speaking to the Carlow Nationalist, Roberts said: "We wanted to go the direct route by beating Offaly, but that didn't happen.

"We told the lads heads up and back to training. We will get back down to it again. We have picked a different route but we're still in the competition." Tweet
