Footballers to take a break

May 22, 2013
Carlow footballers have been given a break following their Leinster championship exit.

Following their defeat to Westmeath last Sunday, the Barrowsiders must now prepare for the All-Ireland qualifiers.

And their manager Anthony Rainbow has decided to give them a week and a half off as the qualifiers will not begin until the end of June.

Speaking to the Carlow Nationalist he said: "I'll give the team a week and a half off and get them back together and we'll see who we get in the qualifiers and take it from there."
