Carlow manager John Meyler admits that he may have selection problems for the Laois match.

The Barrowsiders set up a Leinster SHC clash against Laois following their win over London at Dr Cullen Park last Saturday.

Craig Doyle came on in the first half and scored an impressive 3-2, while Dessie and Peter Shaw also did well when introduced.

Andrew Gaul only came on in the last minute, but he too, will be pushing for a starting place the next day.

And Meyler has welcomed the competition for places, stating to the Carlow Nationalist that it was a 30-man squad.

"This is not about 15 players. This is about 30 players who have to give their bit. Dessie Shaw wasn't too happy either, but he came on and did his bit," said Meyler.

"Craig got his three goals and the pressure is on him to do it again in two weeks' time."
