Hayden: we need to turn up

Carlow's Derek Hayden
Carlow's Derek Hayden feels that if they turn up and put in a performance against Westmeath, anything can happen.
Hayden knows that they will have to lift their game to defeat the Midlanders in this Leinster SFC clash at Cusack Park on Sunday afternoon.
But, the experienced player is confident that Carlow can do that and he explained to the Carlow Nationalist that preparations for the game have gone really well.
"Looking at Westmeath's form, they have gone from Division 2 to Division 1 but if we turn up on the day, we can be a hard team to beat," said Hayden.
"I have never been with a panel or a team who have put in as much effort or as much commitment as these lads have in the last few weeks.
"I am really looking forward to this game. We have the footballers in the county and will put it up to them if we turn up."
