Erin's Own remain grounded
May 09, 2012
Erins Own chairman Phil Geoghegan was not getting carried away by his side's emphatic win over St Mullins.
The Bagenalstown outfit recorded a 1-17 to 0-7 win over St Mullins in the second round of the senior hurling championship.
The manner of the win will have surprised many, but Geoghegan explained to the Carlow Nationalist that there was still a long way to go in the campaign.
"At the end of the day it is only two points on the board even though they produced a great performance and played great hurling."
