Minor hurlers prepare for Westmeath test
April 25, 2012
Carlow minor hurling selector Robbie Foley knows that Westmeath will provide a stern test in the Leinster championship.
The Barrowsiders recorded a merited win over Kildare in the opening round of the championship last weekend and will now meet Westmeath, who were defeated by Laois in their game last Saturday.
Foley believes that despite the defeat to Laois, the Lake County will still be formidable opponents at home.
"Westmeath in the next round will be another tough task," Foley stressed to the Carlow Nationalist.
"We prepared for Kildare so we will have to do the same and prepare for Westmeath now."
