Relief for Coady
April 18, 2012
Carlow joint captain Edward Coady admits that there was an over riding factor of relief at winning a league title.
The Barrowsiders saw off the challenge of Westmeath in the division 2A final to see them gain promotion to 1A for next year.
And Coady feels that they can now prepare for the Leinster championship with a renewed confidence.
"When you went from club to county there was a regeneration of hurling," Coady told the Carlow Nationalist. "It's a huge relief to win the league.
"Now it is back to the club championship and I know there are a couple of rounds in May before the Laois game. I know it is not great but fixtures are fixtures and have to be fitted in. We will approach it with confidence."
