Carlow minors head for Newbridge where they will take on Kildare in the Leinster championship this Saturday.

The Barrowsiders under the guidance of Robbie Foley, Johnny Nevin, Tommy Corcoran and David O'Brien have been working hard over the past few months in anticipation for this match.

Kildare will provide a stern test though and the last meeting between the sides ended in a shield loss for Carlow last summer.

Carlow will be favourites to win this match, but they may have to plan without Peter Shaw and Jack Murphy, who are major doubts. Tweet
