Carlow Town seek JHC restructure
January 19, 2012
A motion has been put forward by the Carlow Town hurling club that would see the junior hurling championship restructured if passed.
Carlow Town want to enter a team into the third tier competition as they feel they are not string enough to play in the intermediate championship.
Club chairman Adrian Dunleavy told the Carlow Nationalist: "We have a lot of inexperienced players who are not ready yet for the intermediate championship.
"It would benefit them if they could play games in a junior championship which would not be as intensive as the intermediate championship."
A competitions meeting to discuss all championship and leagues will be held on January 31st.
