Carlow SFC down to final six
September 02, 2010
The 2010 Carlow Michael Lyng Motors Senior Football Championship is down to the final six contenders following last weekend's action.
Mount Leinster Rangers and Kildavin-Clonegal assured themselves of top spot in their respective groups and a place in the semi-finals with wins over Old Leighlin and O'Hanrahans respectively.
Each game was far from memorable in its own way, with Mount Leinster's game against Old Leighlin producing just nine scores, and a paltry 1-3 representing MLR's winning tally, while Kildavin-Clonegal had far too much in hand for hapless O'Hanrahans, running out 6-11 to 0-3 winners on the day.
The quarter-finals will see Kilbride take on Old Leighlin while Tinryland face Rathvilly.
