Dempsey hails Brennan role
August 05, 2010
O'Hanrahan's coach Sean Dempsey cannot understand why Carlow play John Brennan in goals following yet another exceptional performance for the club.
Brennan registered 2-5 for O'Hanrahan's during their win over St Patrick's and he has scored 3-12 in the last three championship matches, which has impressed the former Laois manager.
"I can't understand why anyone plays John Brennan in goals. Ever. He should always have been playing full forward. He is doing really well for us," said Dempsey.
"He is very courageous. That is two goals he is after getting for us following the ball into the square."
