Palatine have been crowned 2010 Carlow SFC Division One winners.

They beat holders Eire Og by 2-13 to 1-8 in the final despite losing midfielder and captain Niall Reid to a second yellow card just before the break.

The winners led by 0-5 to 0-4 at the end of a poor first half but second-half goals from Brian Kelly and substitute Ciaran Moran were enough to see them capture the silverware. Tweet
