Wexford, Carlow, Antrim and Clare were today's winner in Division Two.

In the day's early throw-in at Wexford Park, Wexford marched to a 2-23 to 1-12 victory over Down.

Carlow led Westmeath by 3-7 to 0-7 at half time and stepped it up after the break to beat Westmeath by 5-17 to 1-10 at Dr Cullen Park.

Visitors Antrim had too much firepower for Kildare at Newbridge, claiming a 1-19 to 2-7 success, while Laois produced a battling display against Clare at Portlaoise but suffered a narrow defeat, 2-12 to 1-11. Tweet
