The 2009 Carlow senior football league Division One final between Eire Og and O'Hanrahan's is supposed to be taking place on Monday June 22.
The match has been given an 8pm throw-in at Dr Cullen Park but there is a doubt now as to whether or not it will proceed.
O'Hanrahan's have reported a severe shortage of players, leading to suggestions that the match might be put back.
