Camogie playing this week were the Under 14s who defeated Avondale, the Intermediates who lost to Ballyboden and the Under 12B team who lost theirs second League game to Knockananna. Some of these U12 were playing their first game. They all tried very hard and showed great promise for the future.
Due to circumstances outside our control, we have had to postpone the official launch of the Grashoppers Club but there will be training for all U8s and U6s on Tuesday in the field from 5.30 to 6.30.Under 10s and Under 12s will train from 6.30 to 8.
Well done to Colaiste Chraobh Abhann's First Year team who reached the Final of the Super Sevens for the first time.
Fixtures this week are as follows: Wednesday Under 16 Championship quarter-final v. Ballinacor, Thursday Intermediate v. Kilmacud Crokes, Friday Under 12A v. Bray Emmets, Saturday Under 10s and Under 8s play in the Wicklow League v. Ballinacor and on Sunday the Under 10s play in Dublin.
Well done to the Adult Wicklow County team which performed so well in the National League Division 5 Blitz in Cavan on Saturday. The Kilcoole representatives involved were Nicky Keddy, Susan O'Toole,Jessica Morrissey, Rita O'Toole, Frances Kearns, Orlaith Donnelly and Niamh Donnelly.
