The All-Ireland winning Castleknock Community College squad.

Dublin school Castleknock Community College landed its first ever All Ireland post primary senior camogie title last weekend with a 2-7 to 0-4 win over Ulster opposition, St Patricks, Armagh.

Played out at Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan the Dublin representatives dominated the second half in Kavanagh country producing passages of play akin to poetry in motion.

Made up of players from local clubs Castleknock GAA and St Brigids the win was a defining moment for camogie in the college.

Speaking to hoganstand.com school coach Margaret Shortall who hails from the well known O'Loughlin Gaels club in Kilkenny heaped praise on her charges saying "each of them put their heart and soul on the line, they trained so hard, they deserve it so much."
