Kilcoole Camogie Club News

December 14, 2009
A Group of 3rd and 4th Class girls from St. Brigid's GNS took part in the Primary Schools Camogie Activity Day in Aughrim recently. This was organised by Jenny Duffy, Camogie's Development Officer for South Leinster. The girls had a great day and many thanks to Ms O Neill who brought them to Aughrim. Indoor activity has stopped for this term as the Sports hall in Colaiste Chraobh Abhann is in use for Christmas exams. Well done to everybody who completed all the sessions - we will be back there again in the New Year. Have a good break and be ready for more Camogie action early in 2010. Watch out for the NEW and EXCITING 'Camog-Aerobics' programme coming this way in the Spring! News for our Adult County players - in 2010 Wicklow will play in the Maire Ui Chinneide Cup for the Gala Junior 'B' Championship. This will be played in two groups on a League basis with the top 2 Counties in each group going ahead to the semi-finals. The Wicklow Fixtures are as follows: June 20th v Louth at Home, June 27th v An Mhi at Home, July 4th v Cill Dara at Home with play-offs if necessary on July 11th, semi-finals on July 25th and the Final on August 8th. We wish all our members and supporters a very Happy Christmas - if Santa is looking for pink helmets, please tell him that Tracy still has a few!!!
