Doyle announced as Wexford camogie boss

December 11, 2009
Former Wexford minor hurler JJ Doyle has been ratified as the county's senior camogie manager to succeed Stellah Sinnott, who brought All Ireland glory to the Slaneysiders in 2007 after a 32 year wait. Doyle, who is a native of Marshalstown, was a substitute on the Wexford minor hurling team which lost by a point to Kilkenny in the Leinster championship final of 1992. He also played with N.U.I. Maynooth in the Fitzgibbon Cup. He has represented Wexford in all grades up to and including minor. He joined Naomh Éanna in 2001 where he played senior hurling and has been actively involved in camogie in Gorey. Doyle will be announcing his selectors in the coming weeks.
