Under 14 County
Our U14 County team travelled to Mallow on Saturday last to represent the county in the Cork U14 Blitz. Both teams played some good Camogie with the White team playing 3 and winning one and the green team fairing better ,playing 4 and winning 3 .Well done to all the girls and, their parents for travelling and Mike ,Donnacha , Maurice and Olive for preparing the girls .One girl in particular deserves a special mention and that is Lisa Barry from Kilmallock . Lisa was asked at the last minute to tog out for the county and with out hesitation she stepped up to the plate , well done Lisa .

Deebert Hotel has kindly agreed to sponsor our U10 Blitz. The draw for the U 10 Blitz will be available on this evening. We are encouraging all U10 Mentors to attend for details of The Blitz...
As you are Aware our PRO Tommy Allen has worked very hard in getting our web site up & running. We will launch the Web Site @ 09.00 pm on Friday after the Co. Board Meeting.
Please ensure your Club Delegate is in attendance.
Due to the very bad weather & pitch closure it has been decided to give Clubs a little more time to fulfil outstanding fixtures.
Please note.
1) We are asking that all outstanding fixtures be played.
2) Allowing walkovers, may jeopardise teams qualification to the play offs.
The fixtures committee has the discretion review and investigate all results.
The possible practise of conceding games, resulting in your team earning zero points & qualifying for a lower final will be looked at. "Walk overs" do nothing for Limerick Camogie, the players who want to play it & parents who want to see it played.

UL Activity Centre North Munster Camogie League 2009
The University of Limerick Activity Centre has lent its support to the North Munster Camogie League 2009. The North Munster League is a competition that was initiated in 2008 to increase the number of games for club camogie players. The aim of this league is to provide regular games for club players during the summer months, giving them a platform to prepare for their domestic championships. The League is open to clubs in Limerick, Tipperary and Clare. The 2009 competition will be open to all club players, regardless of status as members of county panels or otherwise. 22 teams in total have entered the 2009 competition. Each team will play a minimum of 6 games with the first rounds of games played last weekend. Finals for all three divisions are set for July 10th.
