Kilcoole Camogie Club News
June 02, 2009
Last Monday the Under 14s recorded a well earned victory over Avondale in their County League. Well done to all.
'The Great Crawl of Kilcoole' took place on Wednesday. This was our first Fund Raising event Thanks to the efforts of many people, especially our juvenile players and their families, it proved to be not only profitable but also provided a most enjoyable evening's entertainment!
'Event Co-Ordinator' Niamh Donnelly put everybody through their paces 'on all fours' - over hurdles, under nets etc., etc., to the great amusement of ther onlookers. The support generated in the greater Kilcoole Community for this event was most encouraging and we in the Camogie Club are very appreciative of all financial contributions as well as the support. Every euro contributed will help us provide the opportunity of being involved in a great team sport to all the females of the locality - regardless of age or fitness level! Come along on Tuesdays to the Kilcoole GAA Pitch and get involved.
We expect to have all the Sponsorshiup Cards returned by the end of next week. We will then have a Draw for all Cards returned with a Prize for every Team.
On Thursday the Intermediates played their last fixture in the Dublin League before the exam break with a much improved performance against Liffey Gaels.
