Cormac McAnallen's GAC in Sydney recently celebrated the centenary of the Easter Rising by using members to form the words '1916-2016' on a beach.

The club, which is named after the late Tyrone football star, teamed up with members of New South Wales GAA to mark the occasion on Maroubra Beach last Sunday, April 3.

The club used a drone to fly over and film the commemoration. Posting on their Facebook page, they said that "on behalf of the Cormac Mc Anallen's GAC committee, we would like to say a huge thank you to all involved and to the clubs who made this commemoration possible".
