The Michael Cusacks' All Sydney GAA Championship, Proudly Supported by Announcer Group.
We are delighted to announce that we will host our 4th Annual 'All Sydney GAA Championship' this Sunday 12th February 2017.
Time: 9.00am to approx. 6.00pm
Location: Monarch Oval, Fields Road, Ingleburn NSW (NSW GAA Playing Grounds)
This one-day tournament will mark the first official NSW GAA sanctioned competition for 2017. As the first GAA event of the season it will be eagerly anticipated, as it has increasingly become a key fixture in the Irish Australian sporting and social calendar. This tournament will see as many as 21 teams compete for the first spoils of the NSW GAA season, and we are expecting well over 1,000 people through the gates on the day. There will be all 4 codes played - Men's Gaelic Football, Ladies Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie.
The 'All Sydney' is again this year, proudly supported by the experts at Announcer Group - Financial Planners, Tax Accountants and Lawyers Sydney - who are specialists in Financial Services, Tax, Property & Finance Advice. Check out www.announcer.com.au for more about how they can help you!
Entry is $10 at the gate, and kids under 16 are free!
There'll be entertainment for the kids, including some fun colouring in tables, inside in the club house out of the strong sun.
Live music pitch-side by the very talented Susan Purcell from 11am.
An Irish BBQ will be on the go all day long, with a delicious menu lined up from The Irish Butcher.
The shop will also be open and the fridges will be well stocked providing soft drinks, sandwiches, yoghurts and fruit. We will also have treats from Taste Ireland and plenty of Cider and Beer kept chilled for the spectators and the players for after they finish up their games!
There will also be Player of the Championship Awards for each of the four codes. So players will be reminded to always 'Give Respect, Get Respect'.
Who will reign supreme in the first tournament of the year?? Come join us to find out!
