Armagh v Wexford
August 05, 2008
ARMAGH v WEXFORD
They meet for the first time in the championship but they have clashed in some very interesting National League games in the fairly recent past, including the 2005 Division One final which Armagh won by 1-21 to 1-14.
Earlier in that campaign Wexford beat Armagh by 2-13 to 2-6 while Armagh won by a point 0-15 to 1-11 in the 2006 League. Armagh head into the quarter-finals as Ulster champions for the 7th time in ten seasons while after losing the Leinster final heavily to Dublin, Wexford revived their season with a comfortable win over Down in a Round 3 qualifier tie last Saturday.
