The hoganstand.com football team of the week. INPHO
Connacht champions Mayo have four representatives on our football team of the week.

1. Rob Hennelly (Mayo)

Dived low to keep Shane Walsh's penalty attempt out late on and killed off Galway's slim hopes of mounting a comeback.

2. Andy Mallon (Armagh)

The experienced Orchard County defender didn't given an inch to Connor McAliskey and roamed forward to sent over a point in the second half.

3. Niall Carty (Roscommon)

The Rossies' full-back and his defensive colleagues restricted hosts Cavan to a paltry five points during the course of the 70 minutes.

4. Neil Ewing (Sligo)

The Yeats County corner-back made some vital blocks and tackles and held direct opponent Danny Neville scoreless.

5. Lee Keegan (Mayo)

Described by his manager James Horan as a 'rolls royce', the Westport ace cut through the Galway defence to register 1-1.

6. Colm Boyle (Mayo)

Boyle's hit on Damien Comer after four minutes set the tone for Mayo's uncompromising display in Castlebar.

7. Colin O'Riordan (Tipperary)

The industrious teenager put his name to two points as Peter Creedon's side claimed Laois' scalp.

8. Kevin McDonnell (Sligo)

The Yeats County's 19-year-old midfielder laid the foundations for their two-point qualifier success over Limerick.

9. Gary Brennan (Clare)

The Banner County cruised to a 19-point victory over Carlow and their inpsirational midfielder contributed four points to the cause.

10. Michael Quinlivan (Tipperary)

Laois failed to get to grips with Quinlivan who found the target with three first half points in O'Moore Park.

11. Enda Smith (Roscommon)

The Roscommon youngster produced a performance that belied his tender years in Breffni Park and sent over four valuable points.

12. Padraig O'Neill (Kildare)

O'Neill was one of the Lilywhites' better performers against Meath and he continued his impressive form as Jason Ryan's side got their championship campaign back on track.

13. Cillian O'Connor (Mayo)

A return of eight points (three from play) represented a good day at the office for O'Connor while his pass for Lee Keegan's 23rd minute goal was a thing of beauty.

14. Paul Conroy (Galway)

The Galway captain battled valiantly, raising four white flags and earned a 59th minute penalty which Shane Walsh missed.

15. Rory Donnelly (Clare)

Donnelly struck 1-2 against Carlow when the Dr Cullen Park clash was still in the melting pot and he added another point after the break.
