Armagh manager Paddy O'Rourke feels that his squad is in a healthy state ahead of the start of the NFL.

The Ulster side open their campaign with a tough tie against defending champions Cork on Sunday week and O'Rourke is confident that they have the work done ahead of the new season.

"We've used an awful lot of players and I think everybody in the panel has been given game time and we've come out of it reasonably injury free," O'Rourke explained to the Examiner.

"We were a wee bit unlucky as we'd like to have played Gavin McParland and Rory Grugan in the McKenna Cup, but both of them are out injured, as they were close to the team last year."
