Armagh's John Murtagh will decide this week whether to seek a transfer to his native Louth.

The former Crossmaglen Rangers and New York footballer, who currently lines out with the Parnells club in Dublin, was not pleased with the amount of championship match time afforded to him last season by Paddy O'Rourke and issued an ultimatum to the Orchard County boss in today's Examiner:

"They're back now this week and I'll probably make a decision at the latter end of this week.

"I'll see what the situation is. It's hard to know what the time-frame is or whatever.

"I haven't been speaking to Peter Fitzpatrick. I haven't been speaking to no-one.

"It sort of all blew up but that's the situation now. It'll be the latter end of this week." Tweet
