Camogs bid for All-Ireland glory
August 27, 2010
Armagh will compete in their second All-Ireland camogie junior final in as many years this Saturday when they take on Kildare at Ashbourne.
The Orchard women were narrowly defeated by a Clair Curley goal in last year's decider, which handed Roscommon the Nancy Murray Cup, and will look to go one better this time around when they meet the Lilywhites.
Team manager Patsy Magee is confident his team can get the job done come Saturday afternoon.
"We have been working very hard on the mental aspect of our game and have focused on making each player believe in themselves and their ability, both individually and collectively as a team," said Magee.
"The thing that shows me it has worked is the way we have turned our season around. We took some knocks earlier on in the season but we now face the prospect of winning an All-Ireland title.
"No fear is our motto and I have instilled this in the girls, so I have full confidence that they will be mentally ready for everything Saturday throws at us."
