O'Rourke not underestimating Dubs

Armagh manager Paddy O'Rourke
Armagh boss Paddy O'Rourke is refusing to read anything into Dublin's problems ahead of Saturday's glamour All-Ireland football qualifier at Croke Park.

While many are expecting the Orchard County to capitalise on Dublin's defensive frailties, O'Rourke doesn't subscribe to the view that Pat Gilroy's side are there for the taking.

"Maybe they do not have a settled team at the minute, but they have a serious squad and a lot of talented footballers available to them," he said.

"They have some of the best forwards in the country. The two Brogans and Conal Keaney would walk onto any team. They've been tipping away and chalking up 1-21 in bad conditions against Tipperary at the weekend was impressive."

He continued: "They conceded five goals against Meath, but that was a freak result. Everything Meath hit that day went into the back of the net. The bottom line is that Dublin are a formidable team and Croke Park is a formidable place to go to try to beat them. Very few teams have managed it.

"We have a very young team, but I suppose both teams will know where they're at afterwards. We most certainly aren't afraid, but we do realise that it does not get more difficult than this."
