Qualifier draws on Sunday evening

July 09, 2010
The draws for the next rounds of the All-Ireland football and hurling qualifiers will take place in Thurles on Sunday evening at 6.45pm.

The draw for round three of the Football Qualifiers will involve the eight winning teams from round two and the first team drawn in each instance being entitled to home advantage.

The pairings for phase three of the Hurling Qualifiers will also be finalised on Sunday evening. The draw will see a winning team from phase one (Tipperary and Antrim) being pitted against a winning team from phase 2 (Dublin/Clare and Offaly/Limerick). A draw will only be required to confirm pairings if Limerick beat Offaly, as Offaly have already played Antrim in the Leinster Championship and under rule they cannot meet again at this stage of the competition.

The draw will be screened live on RTÉ 2. The CCCC will meet on Monday when all times, dates and venues for the various Qualifier games will be confirmed.
