Clarke' season could be over

Armagh's Ronan Clarke
Paddy O'Rourke has confirmed that Ronan Clarke will miss Armagh's All-Ireland football qualifier against Donegal on Saturday week.
The 2002 All-Ireland winning full forward has suffered a setback in his recovery from the Achilles injury which has sidelined him for most of this season, and there are fears that he may not play again this year.
"He'll be out of football for some time. I'm not sure for how long, but he'll not be playing against Donegal," revealed the Armagh boss, who also confirmed that the Orchard County will be appealing Brian Mallon's controversial sending off against Monaghan in the Ulster SFC quarter-final.
O'Rourke feels his side has been given the toughest possible draw, despite Armagh having already beaten Donegal by 16 points in the National League this year.
"It's a very tough draw for us. But the draw is made and we will just get on with it.
"I'd imagine that most Ulster counties would be hoping to be drawn against someone from outside the province. Donegal are a very good side, as they showed against Down. They were unlucky not to be in the Ulster semi-final."
