Clarke a doubt for Lake test

Another score on the way for Armagh's Ronan Clarke
Ronan Clarke is a doubt for Armagh's NFL Round Two clash with Westmeath in Crossmaglen.
The Pearse Og attacker made an eleventh-hour withdrawal from the Orchard County side beaten in Navan last time out, having picked up an Achilles injury in training last Thursday night. Now he's in a race against time to face the Maroons, who also lost their opening game (against Donegal).
Speaking to The Irish News about the prospects of his All-Ireland winning forward making the team on Sunday, Armagh boss Paddy O'Rourke conceded:
"I don't know if he will be fit or not. One of the boys walked on his Achilles during a wee game among ourselves.
"It was very tender and sore and during the warm-up on Saturday night he didn't feel right. We didn't think there was any point risking him in case he did himself more harm.
"He has been receiving treatment and I know that he has responded reasonably well."
