Thumbs up from TourdeFitz organiser, Michael Herron delighted that everyone arrived safely at Croke Park.

HANNAHSTOWN HILL TO HILL 16 CYCLE
The tourdeFitz Hannahstown Hill to Hill 16 cycle organised by Lámh Dhearg CLG  was a huge success with 107 cyclists reaching Croke Park and 15 cyclists successfully reaching their destination of Newry despite horrendous weather conditions. They set off from the club at 7.00 after an address from Eddie's father and club Chairman Frank senior and Lord Mayor Arder Carson and blessing from Parish priest Fr McGuckin .

All cyclists should be commended for showing great character, endurance and fitness and for making the event a poignant tribute to Eddie Fitzsimons and as well supporting PIPS and club development funds. It is very encouraging to see that the event not only attracted support from its own members but from fellow gaels and the wider community and the club would to acknowledge to all concerned in contributing to a very professionally organised and memorable event.
