McNaughton taking nothing for granted

Antrim's Shane McNaughton
Shane McNaughton says there is no danger of Antrim underestimating Westmeath after the midlanders dumped them out of last year's Leinster SHC.
"Last year we had one eye on Galway and one eye on Westmeath," the Cushendall attacker admitted to the Irish News ahead of Sunday's clash at Cusack Park.
"There was a lot of stuff going on throughout the game, on and off the pitch, and I think a lot of our heads might have suffered because of that.
"But it's a much more focused panel this year, we know what we need to do. We're looking at a three-year plan and this is the first year of it. At some stage, though, we have to stop saying we're just looking for a performance.
"I've been saying that since I started playing for Antrim and, to be honest, I'm getting a wee bit sick of saying that. You start to wonder when you're going to get the results before your county career's over.
"But I think we have the team for this Sunday, and we're not looking beyond that."
