Antrim's Neil McManus
Neil McManus is confident Antrim can takes some scalps in this year's hurling championship.

The Saffrons attacker believes the northerners have the capacity to build on their solid Division 1B campaign, especially with the Loughgiel contingent back on board:

"If we manage to beat Westmeath in the first round of the Leinster championship, we'd relish the opportunity to play Galway," the Cushendall clubman says in The Irish Sun.

"Club hurling is very strong in Antrim at the moment and the challenge now for us is to transfer that into the county team.

"The Loughgiel boys coming into the panel for the championship is a boost. With the addition of Liam Watson, Eddie McCloskey and Joe Scullion to our forward line, we'll definitely improve."
