Former Antrim hurling manager Jerry Wallace
Jerry Wallace accepts Johnny Campbell and Joey Scullion's decisions not to declare for Antrim.
The Loughgiel pair have both told Saffrons boss Wallace that they will not be available for the championship this year.
Shamrocks captain Campbell hasn't been available to the Glensmen all year, while Scullion returned ahead of the league game against Limerick before withdrawing for the championship.
Wallace commented to The Irish News this week: "I have all the Loughgiel contingent back bar two - Joey Scullion and Johnny Campbell. Joey told me that due to college exams and work commitments he could not give the time to it.
"Johnny is stepping back. He wanted time out but the door is open. They have stepped out for 2012 so they are not in my plans for the championship.
"It is very understandable, the decisions they have made. They have been around the county scene for a good few years now and understand the commitment you have to give.
"Personally, it is disappointing not to have two such experienced players involved, but I understand their decisions."
