Saffrons back on colour
January 10, 2012

Antrim's Michael Magill with Barry Owens of Fermanagh during the opening round of the McKenna Cup at Brewster Park
Antrim will return to their traditional saffron-coloured jerseys this weekend.
Liam Bradley's charges donned black shirts for last Sunday's defeat to Fermanagh in Enniskillen - not because they were playing away from home but because their new saffron jerseys weren't ready in time for the first match of the season.
(Of course, there is no need for a jersey change when Antrim play Fermanagh as there is no colour clash involved.)
But the new kit will be ready for this weekend's McKenna Cup meeting with Tyrone as county chairman Jim Murray confirmed:
"We have new jerseys with go-faster stripes on them! They weren't ready in time but we will have them before the weekend and we will be back in saffron on Sunday."
