McKenna Cup: Fermanagh off to a flier

Fermanagh 2-11
Antrim 1-6
Peter Canavan's reign as Fermanagh manager got off to the best possible start when they recorded a surprisingly comfortable McKenna Cup victory over 14-man Antrim at Brewster Park.
Big Roslea full forward Seamus Quigley stole the show with a haul of 1-8, though he was fortunate not to be sent off after being involved in a second half brawl which referee Shaun McLaughlin quickly brought under control.
After escaping with a yellow card, Quigley tagged on 1-3, including a brilliant volleyed goal in the 65th minute, to rub salt into the Antrim wounds after substitute Michael McCann had been sent off on a second yellow.
The home side always looked the more likely winners, having led by 1-6 to 1-2 at the break. Paul Ward got the Fermanagh goal, while Sean Kelly raised a green flag at the opposite end.
Antrim closed the gap to two points on the restart, but their challenge petered out after McCann saw red.
