There were extraordinary scenes at The Dub in Belfast last night when extra-time and a free-taking competition couldn't separate Lamh Dhearg and Portglenone in their Antrim SFC semi-final replay.

After two rounds of free kicks and the clock ticking towards 11pm, Antrim chairman Ciaran McCavana called the managers from both teams together and it was decided to call a halt to proceedings for the night, and that the semi-final would go to another replay at the weekend.

A goal from former Aussie Rules recruit Niall McKeever had Portglenone 1-5 to 0-5 up at half-time, but Lamh Dhearg battled back in the second half and forced extra-time (0-12 to 1-9) thanks to a late Conal Delargy point.

The sides were still deadlocked on 0-15 to 1-12 at the end of extra-time and at the end of the free-taking competition which finished 9-9.

Holders Cargin await the winners in the final.
