Played in brilliant conditions in the splendid Emmett G.A.A., Lisnaskea in an early evening of Wednesday 1st September, 2010, the outcome of this Under 16 Hurling Championship Semi-final was truly over by the late opening quarter when they Lisbellaw ahead by 2 goals 1 point to their visitors solitary point. Earlier the St Patrick's side had an opening match point from Ronan McCusker, who pucked over from play. Lisbellaw's early scoring dominance was massively reinforced, when Ciaran Corrigan blasted home his side's first goal from play. As the opening quarter moved on the previous lack lustre Lisnaskea side burst into scoring action and had their first point from Ryan Murphy from play. However the more accurate St Patrick side had their second goal from Tomas Cleary, who floated a speculative slither to see fly pass to deceive his fellow forwards, opponents backs and the 'Skea goalie to end in the back his net.

With the opening quarter over and this games early score as 1 point for Lisnaskea to 2 goals 1 point for the visiting Lisbellaw. Realising the one side scoring the Emmett's now dug deep, which saw Sean Keenan puck over his side's second point from play. This scoring part of this game went into pause until shortly before the games interval, with the St Patrick's side dramatically making up for previously missing opportunities, with firstly points from Tomas Cleary and Ciaran Corrigan. Then with moments to half time Lisbellaw's David Teague blasted home his side's third goal. However the last score of the first thirty minutes was claimed by Skea's Sean Keenan, who popped over the Emmett's third and last point.

Though it obviously evident even to the most casual visitor that the games visitors Lisbellaw were on top, it was their hosts' Lisnaskea who came out of their scoring traps the earliest. After the Emmett side were awarded a close in free, which Ryan Murphy fired in for first goal but his sides last score. If the Skea hosts were finished scoring not so Lisbellaw, who went on to add three more goals from firstly Andrew Sheridan, who also bagged a trio of points in this closing half. Up and coming forward Chris Corry fired over three points to further increase the St Patrick's side dominance of the closing half. The fifth and sixth goals were claimed by Danny Goodwin, who banged both home from play. Lisbellaw polished off their scoring routine, with points from Ciaran Corrigan, who effortlessly copper fastened a relatively easy Lisbellaw win.
