The inaugural Drumalee juvenile GFC Par 3 golf classic was held in McSeain's, Cornafean recently and was a great success, attracting 50 teams and sponsors. The winning team was 'Klass Cleaners', Cootehill Road, Cavan. The overall results were as follows; 1, Klass Cleaners; 2, Cavan Select (Jimmy Jermyn, David Price, Pat Cahill and Bernie Quinn); 3, Red Stars, captained by Gerry Nevin. Best overall score, Patrick O'Reilly and nearest pin, Michael Ellis.
