Launch of the Cube
On last Saturday night Ballyhaise launched "The Cube" in Anthony Brady's. A large crowd attended and they saw a preview of what will be on store in the Hotel Kilmore on Easter Sunday, April 20. Chairperson Susan Brady introduced some of the contestants and they were interviewed by MC on the night Barry Tierney. Paraic Reilly (Ballyhaise Gun Club), James Brady (Castletara Gun Club), Conor Lyons (Ballyhaise GFC), Breda Maguire (Laragh United) outlined their hopes of winning the €5000 on the night. Brenda Lynch (Ladies Football) and Conor Martin (Lavey GFC) were among some of the other representatives. Joe Dillon, Michael Argue and Nevin O Donnell will represent the talented County Under 21 side. There then followed a preview of some of the challenges that the contestants will face and many of the attendance tried their luck and skill. Anna Costello, Aidan Cousin Reilly, Sinead Lyons and Ciaran Reilly made it through to the play off and Sinead Lyons was victorious showing great skill and dexterity. This promises to be a great nights entertainment in the Kilmore so get your entry ticket from any club member. Music was provided by Brendan Maguires' new wonder band and refreshments were served on the night. Easter Sunday night is definitely one to mark into the diary for Hotel Kilmore.
