Manager Liam Hayes believes Cork are primed to end their five-year wait for All-Ireland IHC honours.
The Rebels meet Leinster champions Wexford in Nowlan Park this afternoon and Hayes feels his side's tough semi-final against Galway will stand to them.
"I'd be very happy with the way we came from behind in the semi-final against Galway, although I never felt the game was gone from us to be honest," he is quoted in The Corkman.
"This will be our fifth championship match, so the lads are a very settled bunch at this stage, and I'd be quietly confident we can finish the job on Saturday.
"Having said that, it won't be easy against Wexford, who had a good win over Kilkenny in the Leinster final, and they'll probably be slight favourites on that account. But it's going to take a very good team to beat us and if we go out in the right frame of mind, which we should do for an All-Ireland final, I believe there's every chance it isn't going to happen on Saturday."
